PRP Explained

PRP Explained

Aging is a natural process that happens to all of us with visible changes in our skin and hair. It leads to gradual degeneration of skin, which leads to pigmentation, wrinkles and sagging skin. It also causes the hair follicles to shrink and, eventually, leading to baldness. Other factors such as sun exposure, dust, stress, improper skin care and misuse of cosmetics also leads to wear and tear of skin and hair.

There are many treatments and procedures that can be done for facial rejuvenation and hair loss. One of the most effective options is PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma therapy. It is a non-surgical procedure and is beneficial for both anti-aging and hair re-growth.

What Is PRP Treatment

Platelets in our blood are a rich source of growth factors that stimulate the growth of the cells in our body, including collagen cells in the face and hair root cells on the scalp. It works by triggering natural regeneration of skin cells making our face more supple and elastic. It effectively boosts the natural hair growth improving its thickness and shine.

Is PRP therapy safe?

PRP treatment has proven to be a safe therapy that requires no surgery and has no major adverse side effects. It is a completely natural procedure as it uses your own blood cell platelets.
